Donna Reid is a native of Charlotte, NC, raised in Washington, DC. Donna is a licensed professional counselor, mother, sister, auntie, friend, and woman who always sees things from different points of view and encourages others to look at other perspectives. Destined to be a therapist from an early age, she always encouraged and enjoyed hearing other people's stories.

She firmly believes that our thoughts about ourselves make the most significant difference in our lives.

Donna is a retiree from The District of Columbia Public School system after 40 years of service. For over 25 years, she has led a thriving practice, Love First, whereas the name says love is at the core of life.

Donna strives to help others learn to love themselves and retrain their brain to eliminate old habits and build new habits that represent them more positively. The goal is to learn to navigate the challenges we all face in life, understanding there will be ups and bumps on the journey.
