The Black Authors Network Radio Show (BAN Radio Show) is a weekly online radio show that features authors and literary leaders twice per week to give the readers a blast of knowledge, wisdom, and empowerment. We are dedicated to promoting the advancement of multicultural, diverse genres books in all aspects of business and social networking.

The BAN Radio Talk Show is a open forum for ANY community leader, concerned parent, book club, educator, writer, poet, or author to promote their products, services, or business. We are a “community voice” programmer! We welcome the entire publishing community to our radio show to showcase quality literature, provide insightful information and to share in the power of our collective voice.

Format of the BAN Radio Show  

1. After you select your package and make the payment, you will submit your promotional material to the EDC Creations team and provide them with 2 books to read BEFORE the radio program.

Each radio program consists of an lively interview, the author reads from their book and callers can speak with the author at the end of the show. Book giveaways are held on social media to encourage listeners to share the archived radio show.

2. Help create a buzz surrounding your interview, invite your network, fans and family to call into the show to discuss your book. Invite anyone who gave you a good review to call in and share their review. It helps for the public to hear from people who have enjoyed your work and contributed to the process.

3. Ella will notify her social media networks and her RSS feed subscribers about the show. The book will be promoted for 60 days on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and through the EDC Creations newsletter.

4. The radio show will be rebroadcast to Ella’s Twitter and Facebook database daily for 60 days. The live-stream interviews will be promoted on Facebook for 7 days.

5. After the show, a group eblast will be sent out to the EDC Creations email database of 165,000 opt-in readers. All of the readers won’t be able to attend the live interview, but the recording is available 24/7 and can be heard from any PC, device, phone or table.

6. Spread the word about your radio interview! Let your readers know that they can speak with you live, on the air! Blog about your event, Tweet it and most of all invite Facebook friends to repost the banner and details of your showcase.

7. Prepare to read from the book 10 minutes. Select an excerpt that is PG rated. We walk people from all walks of life to listen to your message.

After the Radio Show 

The radio show will be available for download one hour after the show ends.  Simply visit our main BAN Radio show page or go to our BAN Radio Show iTunes page  for downloads. You will be able to send the link to all of your networks.

Click on the “Share” button and copy the embed code.  You can also add the widget to your website and blogs.

Always Tweet or Facebook the link to your interview after the show. 
The radio interview will stay on our newsletter as a featured items for two weeks. Our newsletter database now has more than 154,000 social media fans and 118,000 opt-in subscribers. Ella D.
